They didn't add 'kiss me' to the film.
I hate when they make musicals into films and cut some of the songs out.

Isn't it "Ladies IN Their Sensitivities" ?

I notice the 2-cd deluxe edition is back for sale again. For about a week there Amazon was listing it as no longer available.

"Green Finch..." is of course lovely, but it strikes me as far more expendable than "Kiss Me," one of my favorites in all of Sondheim. (And a beautiful chunk was stolen for the DYNASTY theme bridge...)

But I guess we should be thankful the score is as intact as it is. It's actually about as complete as HAIRSPRAY's, and much more than, say, GREASE. DREAMGIRLS lost "Ain't No Party," so I'll be grateful that "Kiss Me" is the only serious omission. "The Ballad" is present as the main title, apparently.It's exclusion must've been a post-production decision to omit breaking the 4th wall - probably wise.

The ballad is NEVER sung in the movie. It's been said over and over again.

The only time(s) you will hear the ballad will be instrumentally.

"Kiss Me" is totally gone. But a very (very) truncated version of "Ladies In Their Sensitivities" will appear in the film.

It's still amazing how much of the score survived.
