This will be one of my must sees next year in New York.. I loved the production in London which played in a perfect space, the cottesloe Theatre at the National... just a couple of hundred seats. I hope they choose a reasonably small theatre (but at least to be on Broadway it has to be more than 500 seats right ??). I would have loved them to take over the original cast who were all so perfect in their roles and I can see why it would attract some big names. If I was an actor I would love to perform this night after night so hardly suprising that Jim Broadbent spent so long playing Tupolsky and that Jeff Goldblum seems interested. .
This is definitely an out standing play that will stay with you for a LONG time after the performance, as my review at the time pointed out it did iniitally upset me greatly however on subsequent viewing I got over some of the horror and could more enjoy the comedy.
I still get chills when I think about The Pillowman and I envy anyone their first experience of it.

I wish we could get the highly praised London cast here, but, nevertheless, I'll try to keep an open mind.
