The set lends itself to some pretty amazing choreography. There was a lot of fun stuff going on and some intense moments that weren't all "feel good". Knowing the basic premises going in helped me to "get it" more than my friend who was a bit confused with what was going on at various times throughout. But as it plays out, it comes together. Thom Sesma is AMAZING as Capt. Ahrab, as is Michael Arden as his son Coyote and Caren Lyn Manuel as Cleo. I personally enjoy the big production numbers the best. I just love to watch physical talent come alive on stage. And what a stage! With a tumble track across the back and front and the entire floor is totally spring loaded(think gymnastic floor covered with marley). I will definitely see this again!

Michael Arden in this show = heavenly. Seriously, his performance and his interpretation of the Bob Dylan songs had me watching with my jaw dropped when I saw the Times in San Diego.
I hope people (especially on this board) give this show a chance.
