Hi All,

I went to The Woman in White website yesterday and there's a haunting melody played in the beginning, which I assume is the title track and I assume it's part of the show. It seems quite beautiful. Does anyone know if it is part of the show? I would rather they recorded more of the show than include the bonus track. Even with the bonus track, I don't believe they fully filled up both CDs. Even so, I love this show so much.

"What the hell happened to you? You look like a Make-A-Wish Kid. You know, I just knew you were gonna bring shame on this new family of ours, and it just figures you had to go make yourself over into some heroin-shootin skate board chic on the only day E! could interview you!" - Cherry Cherry, on her daughter Mary Cherry

The melody is the "Woman in White" theme and is sung by Anne Catherick as part of cut 7 on the first CD. It is only part of the scene in the show, and I wouldn't call it a stand-alone number.

I heard a recording of the song by someone, but I don't think it was ever released as a single. If someone knows more, please let us know.

As Sally said, The Woman in White theme is not an acutal song in the show. However, it was rearranged in a fantastic 'James Bond' style, sung by Irish singer Shonagh Daly. Sadly it was never released as a single and was only ever publically available on a radio broadcast and a promotional CD given away with a UK newspaper promoting Phantom in December re: The Woman in White - Missing track on CD? It does occasionally turn up on Ebay UK
