Posted: 6/13/14 at 8:04pmI'm coming to NYC next week and was wondering if I go into a theater and ask, will they give me a playbill? There are some shows that I have seen productions of that are currently on broadway and I would love to have an official playbill but thought I would ask on here before I just walked into the various theaters. Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

You could try asking at the box office as well as when the show lets out. Occasionally the box office may not have any playbills in there so they wouldn't be able to help you out. And then of course, there are a few places where the box office employees will snap at you for asking about it.
FYI, I've got some lots of anywhere from 10-30+ playbills in case you are looking for any of these.
