Hey everyone its been a long time since I have been on here. I have been busy with college but I'm doing a report in Theatre class about theatre since 1900s on...what I am needing is
1) 10 Noted Playwrites of this time period...Musicals too
2) Also noted acting styles of this time period or changes from before
3) Great actors of the day
4) And then we have to do a 15 minute scene and I have no clue it needs to be for 4 people 2 guys and 2 girls...thanks a lot...

That's more than ten, but that's what the astericks are for. Stiles and Drewe are ** because their very underappriciated. Scott Wittman with Shiaman because there a team (Haispray), although Shiaman did Fame Becomes Me by himself. Seems like a good list to me, but it might be a little musically lopsided, but I could be overanalysing.

Since the 1900's?

I was thinking about it and couldn't think of one single book reference - but I thought of one thing.

A good starting point could be watching the documentary, Broadway, the Golden Years. It will give you great insight to actor's names, styles of acting of that period and names of great playwrights of the early 1900's through the 50's (mostly the 50's).
