I got to see him on stage once, in "Just For Laughs: A Day With Gates and Mills." Tim Conway and him were very funny in that show.

Posted: 5/3/07 at 3:39pmI first saw Poston in a summer stock production of SABRINA FAIR that starred Constance Bennett. I still have the program from the Triple Cities Playhouse in Binghamton, New York, with Poston's autograph.

I have always loved Poston's hang dog, rubber faced comedic ability and I think my favorite turn was during his time with Bob Newhart on his sitcom, though Poston did so many projects it is hard to pick one.
I read a very sad blog posting yesterday in which the writer posted the thoughts and information provided by Suzanne Pleshette (his wife) who was with him at the time of his death and who has had some really bad health problems of her own recently.

Posted: 5/6/07 at 11:24amI just read that blogpost today. I think it was on armyarcherd's site and it is sad. When I first heard he died earlier this week I thought well 85 , what do you expect. But after reading this esp. that he died with Suzanne's head on his chest I do have tears in my eyes.
