So back from a weekend in Sag Harbor with bdwaygirl, mominthecty, and myself seeing three lovely showings of Tommy and Euans mini concert.

First of this entire cast is absolutely fantastic. There really is no other way to describe it. They are all just so talented. Noah Galvin plays young Tommy and is absolutely perfect in this creepy role. I wish he got to sing more because his voice is just so pure and clear. I give him so much credit for getting thrown around so much. He is just so sweet and he is going to go very far.
Then for the rest of the cast we have:

Mike McGowan plays the father of Tommy and I think that he is seriously one of the best voices I have heard in awhile. Like I really dont know what else to say other than just pure perfection.

Liz Pearce plays the mother of Tommy. At first I didn't think I was going to like listening to her voice for two hours. Its very good dont get me wrong but it was just something about it. But as the show went on it grew on me and I really enjoyed her performance she and Mike McGowan had amazing chemistry together.

Paul Binotto plays creepy Uncle Ernie and was more funny than scary. Though his rendition of Fiddle About was very creepy. He has a very wide range vocally and had all the kids in the audience chuckling during Tommys playhouse scene.

Now for the rest of the cast who played so many multiple roles:
Ashley Bachner, Philip Michael Baskerville, Brian Beach, Shelby Braxton-Brooks, Gavin Esham, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Eddie Marco
Gregory Treco, Josh Walden, Laura Woyasz
All of these ensemble members made the show. Each one of them played so many different characters and were so important to the plot. They were all so amazing. Some highlights were Shelby Braxton-Brooks playing the Gypsy and Eddie Marco who played every character under the sun haha.

It was so sad to see this show come to a close. You could truly tell that these people loved and cared about each other and it was just such an amazing atmosphere. So glad I got to be a part of it.

Side note. At the final performance Euans microphone blew out middle of act 2 and it stayed that way till the end of the show. He was such a trooper and did such a great job trying to sing over that rock band, though at times I worried if that blood vessel was going to pop in his forehead haha. But he completly stayed 100% in character and did the best he could. But the best was at the end of the show he ripped off the head mic and gave it to someone in the audience it was so good. Sorry this review is so long and a bit choppy but lets just say that it was an amazing show with an amazing cast!

Sidenote two: euans mini concert was hysterical he talked more than he sang. But it was very cute and he sang some new songs that were great!

"But I relish every brillant inspired moment. This is who I'm determined to be- an actor/singer/dancer-no, I take that back, this is who I am. These people are my tribe, my destiny. I know it. -How I Paid for College; A story of sex, theft, friendship and musical theater.

AH Yes a very good weekend!
Euan and the whole cast were wonderful. I hope Euan keeps some of these songs (Im a Sensation *just a suggestion*) in his concerts in the future. I especially loved hosting Girly on her Long Island Vacation !!

I suggest to all, to visit and support the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. Quality theater in a beautiful location.

Awww...I haven't seen you two in forever!

Sounds like a delightful weekend. I don't think I've seen Euan since Joe's Pub, and I'm glad you all so thoroughly enjoyed yourselves. I haven't talked to Girly yet about it all, but she was awfully excited about it when she mentioned it last weekend when we went to see Songs For A New World at George Street.

Must see you again soon. :)

I had hoped Girly would bring more of New Jersey with her,
