None this season...
Some prime examples from seasons' past would come in the form of JAY JOHNSON: The Two and Only and/or Kiki and Herb!

Posted: 4/18/08 at 5:21pmYou know (hope they don't revoke my Scaryotype privileges for this, he he), but the more I think about it, even with its structure, Passing Strange could have been up for this award. I just can't imagine the show working without Stew - wich makes it unique I suppose.

EDWARD SCISSORHANDS played in Brooklyn *last* season, and won the Drama Desk Award for Special Theatrical Event.
It never played Broadway.
It seems the only eligible Special Theatrical Event this season is DURAN DURAN.
The Administration Committee will probably just eliminate the category for the season.
