Tony Awards and Discounts

Seeking advice:

I'm planning on using discount codes for two shows that both have a good chance of winning the Tony Award for the two musical categories (La Cage and Memphis).

What are the chances of the current discount codes being pulled after the Tony Awards? I was hoping to save on the telecharge fees by purchasing the tix in person...but I won't be in the city until the weekend AFTER the awards. (I'm not GOING to these shows until 4th of July with my kids.)

Should I be ok....or should I just suck up the charges and be sure?

That's usually what happens. I can see La Cage's codes being pulled. I doubt Memphis will pull theirs, but definitely expect to get a better discount before the awards.

I haven't seen either show. I would wait to see what the results are and immediately purchase tickets after the results (if they win) if you are concerned a Tony win will possibly cause producers to pull the current discount. Sorry for the long sentence!
