I'm really starting to get anxious for the Featured Actress in a Musical category. Just as long as it goes to Kelli or Sara, I'll be a happy boy. And I'll be just as excited if Applegate sneaks in and pulls the rug out from under Clark.
I certainly agree with the point that Christina could sneak in and take the tony away from Victoria Clark thus having another Tonya Pinkins/Idina Menzel situation and I also predict that like Wicked, La Cage will win things like the Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle, but the revival Tony could possibly go Charity thus creating a revival version of the Avenue Q win somewhat. Plus around the time Charity opened or when the nonminees were announced Riedel had an article about the nonminees and said someting about the voters liking Charity. If someone knows more about it or if I have anything wrong feel free to post and if someone canfind the article feel free to post it.

I would be the happiest girl if Norbert won and Piazza won everything else. Well, featured actress-I'm tossing a coin between Sara and Kelli. I can't pick.
kangaroo-I think I'd never stop jumping up and down and crying if Piazza won best musical. That would make me so happy, you have no idea!
Best Play- Doubt
Revival- 12 Angry Men
Musical-DRS
Revival La Cage
Plays
Actor- Bryan F. O'Byrne
Actress-Cherry Jones
featured actor- Michael Stuhlbarg
featured actress- Amy Ryan (perhaps Adriane Lenox :)
Musicals
Actor- Norbert Leo Butz
Actress- Victoria Clark
Featured Actor- Matthew Morrison (honestly, if a Spamalot guy wins I will be upset!!!!!!)
Featured Actress- Sarah Ramirez
Choreography: Jerry Mitchell
Score(and all the ones to do with music): The Light in the Piazza
Also, Phantom, I know you started this thread, but don't bet money on your choices, unless you do it with me!!!!!!
I have not heard the other 2 score but hope , if it comes down to Spamalot & DRS that DRS wins as the score is far superior
I thought Butz was a lock but Azarria is great in Spamalot so he could win it.It all depends what Tony voters are thinking. Maybe the sympathy vote will come into play & it will win as Yasbeck got skunked with Full Monty by The Producers juggernaut (it was on TKTS yesterday).DRS I think was better than Spamalot & it would be helped more by the tony than Spam would
Okay, in terms of featured actress, I think we're all in agreement that it could go to any of those 3. But what about featured actor? Fogler from what I seen has been a clear favorite, but by how much at this point? Who do you guys think has a chance in that category either a clear shot or a dark horse, etc. Personally I'd love to see Matthew get that one but we'll see.
Isnt Dan Fogler pretty much a lock for Featured Actor in a Musical??
I really hope the voters do like Charity. It would be amazing to see them take the Revival award. If they do win it - the show will only get more popular - while La Cage will be in MAJOR trouble.
Now - I think a big shock would be if Cilento sneaks in and wins for Choreography over Mitchell. I think it would be a shock - but I would be happy - more awards for Charity - the better..
