There are probably thousands of threads already like this, but I'm predicting that these will be the numbers performed at the Tony Awards this year:
The Color Purple - "What About Love?"
The Drowsy Chaperone - "Show Off"
Jersey Boys - "Who Loves You?"
The Wedding Singer - "It's Your Wedding Day"
The Pajama Game - either "Hey There" or "Hernando's Hideaway"
Sweeney Todd - they should definitely do "A Little Priest" because that is one of the more popular numbers that actually has an ending in it
The Threepenny Opera - medley, perhaps?

Tried it, but ended up getting threads from Tony 2004! Can you believe it?

Threepenny will almost certainly do "Mack The Knife" considering it features much of the cast and ensemble and besides it's the most famous song in the score. Not sure why or how they do a medley with any of the other songs.
Does anyone think Threepenny will do Jim Dale's number (Humans Aren't Smart Enough... I don't know the title) seeing as though he is their only nominated actor?

Nope. It would make NO sense out of context on tv.

I am not familiar with "Threepenny" so thanks for clearing that up Margo!

Kevo - the title is "The Song of Inadequacy of Human Striving"
Maybe they could squeeze me in! LOL LOL LOL
I also used the search and could not find anything regarding the Tony musical numbers for 2006. (The 2004 ones, on the other hand...) Does anyone happen to have a link to the thread? Because I'm having a very difficult time finding it.
