Understudy Fridays?

This may sound dumb, but is there any connection between friday night shows and understudies? Or have I just been unlucky?

Didn't you hear? Equity has new rule that all principals have Friday nights off and there understudies perform in their place......

if only certain posters had understudys.

maybe they could write constructive messages instead of trashing people all the time.

hmmm... i thought it was matinees that are supposed to be full of understudies. but, I just have bad luck all over. i did see understudies for both radames and aida on a friday night.

When I saw "Into the Woods," there were 6 understudies on. This was a Friday night.
