with "Woolf" taking The Booth, could the rumored theater switches be off?? Rumors had Matilda taking The Winter Garden, Mamma Mia! moving to the Ambassador & Chicago moving to The Booth. Or could these switches be put off until the winter??

I really don't care. All I know is that I love the Booth and I love WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, so I'm happy.

Matilda isn't due until the Spring so I imagine any theatre moves from Mamma Mia! and Chicago won't happen until January at the earliest. Still think Matilda will end up at the Shubert.

The set is rather small, but encompasses the entire stage and the Booth's size will be a good fit for Woolf

Are the theatres on Broadway each designed for a specific type of show (i.e. in terms of spectacle, set design, lighting, etc.)?

I was thinking either this or the Barrymore. A good fit either way. I love the Booth.

Very exciting! I will miss Other Desert Cities but it's great the Booth has a new show already.

The Booth is a great place to see a small-scale play or musical.

"Virginia Woolf?" has four people in it and a simple set. The perfect venue.

What has it been, seven years since the Kathleen Turner/Bill Irwin production? Unless this one gets amazing reviews it's going to be a hard sell.

I am excited to see Amy Morton again, and I think this role should suit her.

You're kidding, right? Not sure if it made its money back, but August certainly had a successful run.

And, in my opinion, Morton's production of Claybourne Park for Steppenwolf was miles better than the original off-broadway/broadway production.

I saw this production & cast here in DC at Arena. It was amazing. I think that it will have strong positive reviews. I think that the Booth would be a nice fit.
