with "Woolf" taking The Booth, could the rumored theater switches be off?? Rumors had Matilda taking The Winter Garden, Mamma Mia! moving to the Ambassador & Chicago moving to The Booth. Or could these switches be put off until the winter??

Posted: 6/13/12 at 9:08pmI really don't care. All I know is that I love the Booth and I love WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, so I'm happy.

Posted: 6/13/12 at 9:24pmMatilda isn't due until the Spring so I imagine any theatre moves from Mamma Mia! and Chicago won't happen until January at the earliest. Still think Matilda will end up at the Shubert.

Posted: 6/13/12 at 9:49pmAre the theatres on Broadway each designed for a specific type of show (i.e. in terms of spectacle, set design, lighting, etc.)?

Posted: 6/13/12 at 9:51pmI was thinking either this or the Barrymore. A good fit either way. I love the Booth.

The Booth is a great place to see a small-scale play or musical.
"Virginia Woolf?" has four people in it and a simple set. The perfect venue.

You're kidding, right? Not sure if it made its money back, but August certainly had a successful run.
And, in my opinion, Morton's production of Claybourne Park for Steppenwolf was miles better than the original off-broadway/broadway production.

Posted: 6/16/12 at 6:20pmI saw this production & cast here in DC at Arena. It was amazing. I think that it will have strong positive reviews. I think that the Booth would be a nice fit.
