You need to see the Drowsy Chaperone, Jersey Boys, and Sweeney Todd. I would also reccomend The History Boys if you want to see a play.

The Color Purple and The Wedding Singer are good choices. Rent if you haven't seen it, is a must!

The Color Purple is fabulous, I would reccomend it to any one. And also, you can't go wrong with Sweeney Todd. It is such a great show. And John Doyle's direction is really incredible.

Munk- Doubt and Awake and Sing! will be closed by the time West end artist goes to NYC.

Anyway, you should definately see SWEENEY TODD. Great show.

I would check out RENT and SWEENEY TODD if you aren't up for a "repeat"... But DRS is awesome the second time, too re: WHAT SHOULD I SEE ARGGGGGGGH

Definitely see 'Drowsy Chaperone'. Also recommend 'Sweeney Todd' and 'Spelling Bee'. See 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' again, Jonathan Pryce is that good. I liked it with Lithgow, but it was much better with Pryce.

In 'Drowsy', the narrator puts on a record from a 1920's and the show comes to life in his little apartment. He continues to narrate and give backstories on the performers. It's extemely funny and clever. Definitely a musical for those who love musicals.

I echo the people who are saying Spelling Bee.

And Pryce is phenominal in DRS, I actually liked him better than Lithgow.

Whatever happened to class?

It's J Pryce.

Sorry I just had to correct that. My family friend saw it with Lithgow, then a couple of weeks ago she saw it with Pryce. She thought Pryce was soo much better. The only thing I think Lithgow was better at was the accent.

GO PRYCE!! re: WHAT SHOULD I SEE ARGGGGGGGH

I agree, Jersey Boys (I've seen it twice and will probably see it again) and Drowsy Chaperone are both fantastic shows.
