Woman In White has announced that previews will begin October 28, 2005. Interesting since there has been no cast announcements. Who do you suppose besides Maria Friedman???

One has to assume that if they've scheduled previews, they think they have a cast with which to perform them...

If a preview schedule has been announced, when are tickets usually sold? I guess this will also be part of the AMEX pre-sale promotion.

ROFL...yes, one would hope that they are close to putting us out of our misery!

What little I can say...

Offers have been made for all leads. 4/5 are set.

Ensemble still being cast. But expect lots of ALW alumni in the show.

The Standby for Marian should make a lot of people on this board very happy (should she accept the offer).

I would think the leads would be Marian, Laura, Anne, Walter & Fosco...I wouldn't really consider Glyde a lead.

Have to agree with kec, the score is beautiful. After I play it I end up humming I Believe My Heart, and You Can Get Away with Anything for hours.

Thanks, Michael Bennett - we're hanging on to everything you're saying re: WIW

Marian's standby - is she a Broadway actress who might have appeared in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway?

I don't know if she did PHANTOM or not...

Think Gladstone.

Michael, this is very interesting news. Can't wait till we're put out of our misery of waiting and wondering. I just got my WIW CD today and I think "You Can Get Away With Anything" is going to take up residence in my head for quite some time.

"I just got my WIW CD today and I think "You Can Get Away With Anything" is going to take up residence in my head for quite some time."

Certainly understandable :). That song is one of three from the show that stuck in my mind long after I left the theatre. The other two are "I Believe My Heart" and "Evermore Without You."
