Recently on Rosie O'Donnell's blog at Rosie.com, she announced they were trying to get the ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW to DVD. The problem is its marketability. What exactly would be released? "Best of"? Broadway performances? Complete seasons? It's how to convince Warner Bros. that there is a market for them and what we want on them.

Please sign the petition that's found at this URL: http://www.petitiononline.com/rosiedvd/petition.html. Meetings with Warner Brothers and Rosie have been happening off and on, and I was recently sent a message from a former WB employee saying that the amount of signatures on the petition is a turn-off considering it had been online for years. Help increase those numbers by signing and getting the word out. Just take a look at all the Broadway performance could potentially be released:

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I hope you get more signatures... and that it helps push WHV to release this.

...And before the rest of the "Punctuation Police" arrive and crackle off the bitchy remarks, you might want to change your thread title now...

It's "your" not "you're" in your header.

It's really such an incredible list.

WHV should research how much the "Broadway's Lost Treasures" series has made. I would think the potential profits here would be similar if this was released.

Plus you'd have regular Rosie fans buying it too, not just the Broadway/theatre crowd.

I definitely signed! I doubt they would put season sets of this show out considering how many were filmed, but I'd buy them if they did!

I usually don't sign these because they have no effect, but you stated everything very well and it seems that this is very important. And I would LOVE DVDs of those performances, so I'm signing right now re: We need your help bringing the Rosie O'Donnell Show to DVD!!
