Ok, don't yell at me for starting another of these threads (I usually hate these as well) but i have looked everywhere and I can't seem to come up with any good shows to see when I'm in the city in August. So can anyone suggest good shows to see on and off broadway when I'm in. I'm already seeing History Boys and i was thinking of Red Light Winter and Title of show. Any other suggestions?
P.S. I prefer plays to musicals. But if it's a great musical, I'd be more than happy to see it.

Posted: 5/23/06 at 11:44pmI already saw Awake and Sing and didn't like it. I was thinking more off-broadway because I know all the shows on broadway and the only one I'm really considering is Martin Short.

I'm coming up from FL in August and have my plans! Well, I technically live in PA so I'm just taking the train into the city to see 3 shows.
I am seeing Avenue Q! **Better yet, with 5 of my family members...lol. One of them is my 86 years old gradmother!!! But really, I've seen it 6X already and I think she'll enjoy it. Besides, she acts and seems like she is only like 70.
I am seeing Drowsy Chaperone
and Naked Boys Singing.
Not that it matters but I saw I LOVE YOU BECAUSE a few months ago.
