#0What to see since Gypsy was cancelled?
Posted: 2/2/04 at 7:34pmI was originally going to see The Boy From on April 2. It was cancelled because Hugh is vacationing. So, I got tickets to Taboo. It is closing. Then, I got tickets to Gypsy and now I hear it is closing. So, I have been deciding what to see instead. I am already seeing Assassins, 42nd St, Hairspray, Movin' Out, Avenue Q, and Wicked. Many of the other shows on Broadway I have already seen. What show would you recommend: Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors, Wonderful Town, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Bombay Dreams, I am My Own Wife, or Blue Man Group. I would really like to see a play, but I am not too up on those. If you know of an excellent play worth seeing, please tell me. Any comments would be great. I have changed my mind on this topic so many times. Thank you very much for your time. :)

Posted: 2/2/04 at 7:37pmGO SEE BLUE MAN GROUP. It's an amazing show, EXTEMELY different from the ones you have tickets to, and is an all around thrilling experience.

Wow. That's the first recommendation on this board that's not RENT. *GASP*. Wow. Something's wrong there. I didn't recommend it b/c I'm sure you've seen it...

Posted: 2/2/04 at 9:22pmWhy does Corine use a star system for rating shows? Has she suddenly become a meteorologist? Or is it the fact that her teeth are like stars: they come out at night?

LOL, broadwayguy2, no wonder you are one of my favorites here ! I had the EXACT same thought when I read fosse2004's first post. But why 2 tickets, it seems that one is more than enough to achieve the goal !! Of course I am kidding too !!!
Take care

Posted: 2/2/04 at 9:51pmThat show scared me. What was up with that guy with a hairy ass wearing a jockstrap? Rob/Craig, Is it okay to say hairy ass on this board?

Posted: 2/2/04 at 10:07pmI can't believe Gypsy is closing so soon. I also heard Never Gonna Dance is closing. A good thing I have my tickets for the 8th before it closes. I have tixs for Wonderful Town so I can't recommend that. Little Shop, Millie, 42nd Street they are good. I don't get the star rating either.
