Ms. Liza was at the performance on March 20th. It was AMAZING, during the Broadway Cares stuff, she came out and danced - got great pics! Joel Grey singing and dancing with Liza, after a FANTASTIC performance, what could be better?


Anybody else see it? Get pics? see Idina or Kristen afterwards??

Idina was absent the next performance, Sunday the 20th, she had been coughing on the 20th a few times during the show...but anyway - heard the U/S was awesome too! Updated On: 3/24/04 at 05:38 PM

Ms. Minnelli certainly has been making the rounds lately. I heard she was at another showa week or two ago and I saw her at Christine Eversole's show at Feinstein's.

I was also there at the 3/20 evening show. I was pretty excited to see her!

The show was great though I was slightly annoyed that I was surrounded by idiots who talked during the show. I asked one to please quiet down and got sworn at.

Ah well, it was a great evening and solidified my opinion that Idina should win the Tony.

Really? There were photos of Liza at Wicked "somewhere" and you couldn't find them? That is incredible. And when I say incredible, please refer to the definition which states "So implausible as to elicit disbelief"

I think that they should cast Minelli as Madame Morrible when Shelley leaves; she's perfect for the role, and it's not too much work. It would be a smart casting move as tkt sales would boost up, even though every seat in that theater is already booked for quite some time, I believe.
