That is why the 2007 Graz/Austria Cast was recorded, to erase any bad memories of the score, and I would jokingly assume so that people could not understand some of the terrible lyrics ("If I Could Fly" sounds fantastic in German, which I cna't understand!).

Posted: 12/26/09 at 11:58pmThey need to rerecord the show anyway with a new cast and the show orchestrations. It would be nice to have a reference recording for MTI instead of this concept CD which is what I believe they are sending out to people.

Posted: 12/27/09 at 2:31am...the DRACULA, the musical recording has a record company and pre-order information and everything at Global Visions. Clips are on the site, and honestly, who hasn't heard that recording?? It's all on that site anyway!

Ah, good times! Three years ago, They blamed Barbour's troubles for not releasing this cd. All they had to do to get the original cast on the cheap was to wait eight weeks (maybe nine, I forget) after the show closed, which it did not long after they started their "concept" album. What a tangled web we weave, etc.
