Okay, assuming these guys don't split the vote and the award ends up going to William H. Macy (Stealing Sinatra)...
Who from "Angels in America" do you think should and will win the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor:
Justin Kirk (Prior Walter)
Jeffrey Wright (Belize)
Ben Shenkman (Louis Ironson)
Patrick Wilson (Joe Pitt)
I'm thinking this is Justin's night but then, again, Jeffrey could snag this like he did the Golden Globe (and the Tony).

It's no contest for me.
All were incredible. But Wright has it in the bag.

While I hope TSMrW wins, I think the award might go to Jeffrey Wright.
I've set my DVR for this. I could hardly stay awake during the Golden Globes. I don't watch enough movies or TV to know who most of the people are, and all I can remember about the Golden Globes is a smiling Patrick Wilson and a lot of bared cleavage. I wonder if he'll even be there.

I thought Kirk miscast and never "got" the role at all -- Spinella still owns that role and it's criminal he didn't get to repeat it on film (I don't care how old he is).
Wright in a walk.

Posted: 9/19/04 at 5:50pmConsidering Justin Kirk is my favorite actor, I'd love to see him get it but I think it's going to be tough up against Jeffrey Wright. There were just some scenes I think Justin Kirk could have done much better in, so I don't think his acting was as great as Wright's. I'll be happy if either one get it.
