Would this even be feasible?

So I'm going to NYC on Wednesday for a work-related thing. I'll be there until Friday, but Wednesday's my only free night. My flight gets into JFK around 5:30...what are the odds I could get to the TKTS booth in time to get a ticket for something for that evening? (I'm not sure what the travel time would be, or how close the booth is to various theaters...). And if that sounds completely unrealistic, any other thoughts on something fun to do (preferably theater-related) that wouldn't have the problematic timing issues? (Sorry if slightly off topic...).

I think you should splurge and buy a full priced ticket to a great show! If you're going for work you have every right to treat yourself!

Well, I'm concerned about getting something beforehand in case the flight's late and I don't make it in time to see the show.

That's a very valid concern. Didn't think of it. Do you have any friends in NY who could go to TKTS for you?
