I was thinking of picking up a TDF ticket to see the show again. Anyone care to comment on what the play is like once you already know where the story is going?

speaking of...I didn't want to start a new thread but does anyone know what the rush situation is like. I'd like to see the matinee on a Sunday but my flight doesn't get into NYC until about 11:45...if I haul ass to the Booth will I get rush tix? SRO? thanks!

I've seen it three times. I found it as powerful every time. It's really no different than seeing ANY show again. You know the basics, but at least for me, new things jump out.

If anything it seemed to go quicker the second and third time ~ when I KNEW it was almost at the end I couldn't believe it had gone so quickly.

(I've got tickets to see it at least twice more ~ 7/21 with my parents and closing on 8/25. I LOVE it!)

Gustof... It's always dark Sunday. And it's dark all this week. The next performance I believe is 7/10.

shoot! well then my next chance to see it would be Tuesday the 17th and I have stuff until about 2 in the afternoon. same question. If I got to the Box office at 2 would there still be any tix for rush or SRO? thanks so much jordangirl for your help. I really wanna see this!

I did rush when they first announced it. I don't know how many tickets they have, but there were only 2 of us there when the box office opened. I'd say it's definitely worth a shot ~ save for the chance to see Vanessa Redgrave, I don't think a lot of students are clamoring to see this one. I'm also not sure how well-publicized it is that they DO student rush.

And if not, it will likely (sadly) be on tkts.

Of all the weeks that I'm in New York, MAGICAL THINKING has to not be running THIS week.
Ah, I really need to see it before it closes, but it doesnt seem like that will happen.
Just walked by the theatre today and took a lot of pictures... haha, yeah

Awww! DRS, if there's any way to get up here to see it, I highly recommend it. It's amazing!! (Though I understand why they'd be dark for the week Vanessa needed to be gone for whatever reason rather than deal with people angry over seeing a stand-by...and the refunds it would cause for an above title star being out.)
