The music from the beginning of "Send Me Someone" from YF ripped off the music to "Little Lamb" from Gypsy.
And your point is?

It's just a thought, Mel is really digging for new melodies.
Ever since I first heard it, I always thought "Deep Love" sounded somewhat like "One Song" from Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
I thought this would be about Patti being kidnapped and forced to cover for Roger Bart.
Oh man... Patti and Megan on the same stage? F.i.e.r.c.e.
"The stage! I'm insane about the stage!"
I'd pay the $450 to see THAT!

TWSFan you're right! It does sound very similar!!! I can't believe I never noticed!!!
Thanks for replying, candydog2! I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that. I mean, I love the song "Deep Love," it just sounds like "One Song."
well, in all fairness, Mel mentions that he took elements of his favorite musicals and put them in his shows. this is why "The Brain" sounds so similar to many of the Danny Kaye quips that were thrown around in the 1940s shows he did.
"Two By Two" it ain't!
Yeah, and "Transylvania Mania" is a practical duplicate of "Puttin' On The Ritz."
