Posted: 2/24/06 at 4:10pmI doubt/ hope it will not ruin her career. She and the shows creative team did the right thing and this probably saved her career. I feel bad for her and I wonder how her husband must feel :o( I am sure she will get a role that is more suited for her soon.

Posted: 2/25/06 at 8:32pmIt is true, there is nothing scandelous or career affecting behind Michele's departure. It was what was best for her vocally. The last time I saw Michele was a few weeks after she left MM and she even said then that she wasnt sure if she'd be vocally ready to return.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...

I just saw Mamma Mia last night and I thought that Corrines performance as Donna was incredible, I thought she had a great bond with the other characters onstage and her voice was incredible, especially on "The Winner takes it all!" I was nervous before the show about the replacement situation, but after seeing her in this role, I was very pleased with the show.
not a spectacular piece of theater, but a lot of fun!

Eeeek, I saw Corrine as Rosie and thought she was boring.
Oh well, I thought our very own Rath was going to replace Michelle Pawk. They'll fly her in from the Las Vegas production to save the show!
