Posted: 5/12/07 at 10:27pmi know everyone groans at the thought of a movie...to musical...but i think it isn't always terrible when there is some creative freedom...and the movie is actually a good choice to be a musical. anyway i was watching my best friend's wedding and thinking how much i love that movie and how music is already incorporated into it so well...anyone think it could be a great musical???

Not that we have the rights or anything, but me n my friend are working on writing this!
I thought the exact same thing about it!
A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

Posted: 5/13/07 at 9:09pmThere is no characterization and no dramatic arc in the movie, and heavy reliance on the physical appearance of the leads, especially Julia Roberts and Rupert what's-his-name. Can be made into a musical only with significant de-construction and development. Good luck.
