Posted: 12/18/06 at 11:15pmI agree with everyone else. It's a no brainer. Les Miz is a revival. And she was cast in a part that thousands of others have played. She would not have stood out. But Wendla is a part she created. Creating a part and finally playing it on Broadway would always be a first choice.

Looking at SPRING AWAKENINGS numbers (it's still early)
it may not be around TONY time either.
But Lea will do just fine, got the looks and talent for a long career.
It got great reviews but the cast was unfortunatly mostly overlooked. It has hardly exploded.
i hope it picks up some momentum.

I think Spring Awakening was a better career move- to originate an original role, rather than recreate a role... for me, it would have been hard because I have such an emotional attachment to Eponine, but as Lea has worked with her SA role for a while, she's probably attached to her too so... Spring Awakening seems like a no-brainer, really.

What ever happened to an autograph? (unless there is something in the show which I haven't seen yet, although I find it highly unlikely, that involves audience sniffing participation).
