does anyone know of any good one minute monologues for boys? it has to be age appropriate, so about 17-18 should be right. i'd prefer something dramatic, but not over done. thanks so much!

Someone might be able to confirm:

Does the son have a monologue of this type in Edward Albee's "The Goat or Who is Sylvia"?

Josh's monolouge from Bang Bang You're Dead!!! It is really good and sad if you do it right. It is the one that starts, "Mom...Dad...you made me do this...i wanted to kill you but i didn't want you dead"

Matt's monologue from The Fantasticks is really great. He goes on a nice journey.

Of course there is always the ever popular, tried and true monologue by Tom in "The Glass Menagerie".

okay, i have an awesome guys monologue from the show "Lakeboat" by David Mamet. It's spectacular, but you're going to have to cut it. I helped my friend patrick find/cut this one...it's pretty damn fantastic if you're looking for some comic releif. I'll email it to you.

Also, piece of advice. Never do a monologue from a Musical for an audition...bad idea.
