Hello there,

I am a london based stand up comedian called Terry Saunders. For years any egotistical google searches for myself have resulted in lots of things about an actress called Terry Saunders who was in the King & I.

I am now trying to research more about her - and initial searches have provided little help - I have her CV (off this very site) of shows she was in, but have yet to find any biography or photos etc.

A search on this site has shown that a couple of you lovely forum people seem to know a thing or two - so I was wondering if anyone could shed any light or point me in the right direction of somewhere to look

I think the US Terry Saunders stopped performing and became a staff member at Actors Equity Assn. She was in the Production Contract division. The Production contract covers Bway and 1st class tours. This was a number of years ago.

I met her several times in the 70s. She was very knowledgable and firm without being hysterical.

If nothing else, try Equity.

Terry Saunders was in the film version of THE KING AND I as Lady Thiang. I have worked with her twice, and the last I knew she was living in the West 70's in NYC. She must be 80 by now, so who knows...a wonderful talent and a great lady! Check with Actor's Equity.
