Ok, does anyone know of a site on the web here where i could get samples or even whole songs from the short lived show. Like, Dracula's site, you can download like four songs.. and one know where i can get a few UC songs since the show wasn't recorded. Anyway..THanks.

Tis long gone, as far as I know.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
..yes ..thank the good lord above...gone and almost completely forgotten.
Why is it good that it's gone? The show was pretty crappy, but most of the music was undeniably very good.
And Matt Cavenaugh in his underwear -- don't forget Matt in his underwear.
Mmmmmmm...I have pictures of that.
I wonder if the rights to it will ever be released. I could just see some community theatres producing Urban Cowboy.

matt cavenaugh in his underwear is definately worth remembering...
So nobody knows where to find clips of the original material Jason Robert Brown wrote for the show??
I saw Urban Cowboy's try- out in Florida before it ever went to NY and everyone agreed even then that the JRB songs were the best part of the show... they aren't ANYWHERE?
i've seen UC bway cd samplers on ebay. They had 4 songs on them... and i believe the amazing song "hop-along-heartbreak" was on the cd.
Thanks! There aren't any on right now
But I'll keep checking!
munkustrap178 why don't you share those pictures with us! : )
Those pictures are definitely something to show his grandkids someday.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
An older woman actually passed out during the show when I saw Urban Cowboy.
I think it was from the hotness that is Matt Cavenaugh!!!
P.S. It was NOT because of the quality of the show.
