This is sharp, smart satire. Kudos!
^^^^ That is the most perfect response! So funny. "Don't forget about ME today!" Never heard of that guy. Great delivery.

Can always count on you guys for chuckles.
PERFECT, Uncle Charlie, perfect!
I'm guessing you're fine, SF, since you have the time and access to be online.

The eye appears to be heading to the west coast bad news for Naples north to Tampa.
Are you thinking about them and praying for them? If so, why don't you say so?
I'm jealous Frankie. I wanted the most damage in my neighborhood. Hope you realize the OP was inviting laughter.

Uhm.....as someone who lives in Florida, this isn't funny. I'm worried that after Monday, I won't have a home.

We are hunkered down here in Orlando, ready as we'll be for the storm on Sunday.
Given the track of the storm, I'm expecting a loss of power for an extended period of time. My home, fortunately, will be fine, though I feel terrible for the folks further south.
All models point to heading up the west coast of the state. Stay hunkered Adam, good luck. I think the heavily populated areas in the southeast of the state are going to be OK, we are already out of the cone.

Yes, the track has changed to go up the west coast of Florida. But you are delusional to think you are out of the cone and the southeast areas of Florida will be okay. The hurricane covers the entire state. Orlando and the east coast of the state, where I live, are now on the right side of the storm which is the more serious. Higher winds, rainfall, and storm surge. It is projected to be a category 2 storm, by the time it reaches me.
It's like a ghost town down here in Fort Lauderdale, roads pretty empty except for police. All stores closed, gas pumps shrink wrapped, but no rain and only mild wind so far. Stay safe Art.

We have a condo in Sunny Isles just south of Lauderdale. MY GF & her hubby bugged out to South Carolina on Wednesday where they have family.( didn't want to wait for the traffic & the gas to run out) I think this is going to push them to a compete relocate.
Stay strong. Stay safe.
I'm in Davie Sabre, just some small gusts, almost nothing so far, no rain yet.
