P could I find it on google or do you need to KNOW someone?

There is some music (from the overture most likely) on the show's website.

When did this thread turn into a thread about Dee?
re: The LCD Screen: Is this the future of set design?

I saw it twice too & it worked wonderfully. Except for the second time during 'You Can't Stop the Beat' a computer error message popped up on the screen.

Broadway never had an LCD screen. It was a "light bright" type wall. The TOUR did have an LCD screen though.

I have no idea about Wicked (I saw it 200 but BatB was downsized when it changed theatres.
re: Katie Rose Clarke's replacement in Wicked is confirmed

She did sing the last note in "Thank Goodness" today. I made sure to pay special attention, and actually for a second I thought she might not do it. I'm not sure how it would even work if she didn't sing it, but she did

Someone else would sing it for her, which may have happened without you noticing. It's the Glinda understudy who is on the bridge during the song. Kendra Kassebaum does not sing the note at all.

Fire her ass. There are plenty of directors who can work on a budget.

Does Taymor answer to anyone? It's not like she is stealing it, SOMEBODY had to have given it to her. It's their fault the budget is what it is.

How much was Wicked costs? If Wicked was cheaper than this, I don't even want to know what ridiculous effects and sets they are doing.

14 million I think. I don't get all the hype over Wicked's sets & effects because they are pretty dull.

re: Arthur Laurents play THE ENCLAVE inspired COMPANY
 Aug 9 2009, 04:38:52 PM
When he dies, the lights on Broadway will not be dimmed and people will dance on his grave.

No need to worry about that. Arthur Laurents is eternal. He has been here long before man & will be long after we're gone.

re: WICKED Welcomes Erin Mackey As New 'Glinda' 8/11, Michelle Federer Retu

Ohh. The way she said it in an interview made it seem like she was only on tour for a short time before going to Chicago. Sorry...

Mackey started in a regional sit down as the understudy, working her way up to the role,

I say nay nay. She was only understudy for less than 2 months before the producers bumped her up to Chicago. Unlike say Katie Adams who has stood by for a lot of the Broadway/tour runs & still has no principle role to show for it.

Definitely not the Phantom. He doesn't even show up for almost 40 minutes in the first act.
