just saw the show again tonight!
ben platt is the best actor I have ever seen in my life, I could see the snot and tears dripping down his face during words fail. he is absolutely incredible.
in regards to the seat, I was right in front of the wall for much of the first act. luckily, I got a "booster" seat to help me see, and most of the action is center stage and towards the front, so I could see a majority of the show. somehow, I managed to get a front row

Okay! Most likely I will keep the ticket I have and see if I can possibly move up.
If not I am totally fine with turning my head. Were you able to make eye contact with some of the actors?

Hi everyone! I just saw Dear Evan Hansen last week and was lucky enough to score a resale ticket for next week.
However this ticket was decently expensive- and with a catch. It is partial view- row b seat 11 (which I have heard from a message board is the worst seat there is!)
I have seen the show already so I'm not too worried about missing out on the social media effects- I mainly bought this seat because of the proximity to the stage and the actors/actresses. I

This happened at the Music Box a week ago. Everyone stood at the stage door and Colton Ryan (Ben Platt's understudy) was escorted away out the front door. It's pretty common.
