I saw the show on Friday evening (3/16). I've been a lurker on these forums for a while, but thought I'd put in my two cents. I'm a fairly regular visitor to Broadway (1x every 2 months or so?) and am a big fan of the classics. I really enjoyed my time seeing Carousel. I thought the orchestrations, vocals, and choreography were really the standouts.
