I am really sorry you did not understand that tonight was the first preview performance of a new show, the most expensive musical production in Broadway history. It has received a lot of publicity. There are few people who are interested in the theatre and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark who do not know it. Furthermore, by all accounts an announcement was made before the performance began.
