OK, I do not want to continue to keep this thread so off-topic, but I just have to respond. I was supposed to perform "Take Me or Leave Me" when I was a senior in high school (a million years ago as I am now in grad school...wow RENT has been a part of my life for a VERY long time). We had a musical revue. It was rehearsed and ready to go!

Hi Anthony. I have a question. I read a while ago that Jonathan Larson ahd a whole backstory to RENT, including how the characters met (I am pretty sure that Mark and Benny met at Brown University). I always wondered how Mark and Roger met. I love their friendship and was always curious about how such different people had meet and developed such a wonderful friendship. Yes, I am aware that these are fictional characters, in case you thought I was looking too deeply ino this. = )

Hi all! This is my first post, but I am, of course, a long time Renthead and New Yorker. I also had the opportunity to see the opening of the show in London with you, Adam, Wilson and Jesse. I had just graduated high school and decided what the hell? I had always wanted to visit Europe and the timing worked out.
