Saw this about a week before opening, and agree with many of these points. Burstein was surprisingly hollow, but then I remembered I felt the same way about him in Cabaret 10 years ago. I have tickets to see this in mid December. I knew Audra would sing it completely different than her predecessors, however I was left disappointed a day or two ago after hearing the audio of two numbers.
