I've always thought of Lynch as the perfect director for this. I also would have loved to see what Kubrick could have done with the material.

I have always envisioned a Threepenny Opera film with puppets. I’d also add some expressionist elements to the cinematography and production design (like the cover on the 1976 cast recording with Raul Julia), very dark in tone but without losing its humor. It would be more faithful to the show than the Pabst film. It would also have some surreal elements to it.

Until now I haven’t thought of any song I would cut (except, perhaps, Call from the Grave), though I do have a hard time coming

Hello everyone! So I'm going to New York next week with my friends and we bought Rear Mezzanine tickets for Chicago, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me how is the view? I'm worried that we won't be able to see much.

I also bought Front Mezzanine for Cabaret, I got seat BB6, is this a good seat?

Couldn't agree with you more blaxx. I'm from Mexico, and I can assure you this is not the biggest pre-sale ever, Morris Gilbert just said so to promote Wicked. You really can't trust what he has to say about his own shows, he's the freakin' producer, he'll say anything to promote his shows. I can assure you Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera sold more tickets in pre-sale than Wicked, perhaps even Mamma Mia.
