Can A Student Buy Rush Tix for Non Student?

Yea, I heard that the seats to Jersey Boy are all the way off to the side but I still really want to see it.
Also, I know that in the past Jersey Boys would put a mark on student rush tickets, so that once you got to the theater you had to show your student id to use the ticket. Has anyone rushed them lately? Are they still doing this? I just want to be sure that the older family member of mine who I am buying tickets for (I am a student but she is not) will not be kicked out of the th

Hey, I would really appreciate if someone could help me answer this question. I would like to buy 2 student rush tickets (one for me and one for a family member who is clearly no longer a college student). I was wondering if this would be a problem since I am the one buying the tickets with my student id.
I was thinking of doing this for either Jersey Boys or Mamma Mia.

Hey guys, I will be rushing for the first time next Saturday and I was hoping I could get some advice. I am interested in seeing: Anything Goes, Chicago, or the Lion King.
1) Which tickets are easiest to get?
2) How early do I need to get there on Saturday to get tickets?
