But of course, DreamFlyer! Modern movie-musicals bring Broadway to a larger audience that might not know of or see it without big-screen adaptations. That's what makes me so happy. Even if people know it only for the movie, they'll still get the message.

Agreed, musicnmath. It was very appropriate that Anthony spoke hardly of the film, but of the cause. Beautiful performance. Gosh did they all look great. Tracie in that little shirt, Adam, Anthony - goodness gracious - Someone take pictures in the park, por favor!

They are in such good shape... oh wow... It was amazing. Can't wait to hear more from those of you who actually got to go! It sounded and looked great from my livingroom! And even though it's just hair... oh man

Good luck to you guys trying for the "biggest renthead" contest, or whatever it is. I'm still ticked they wouldn't allow video entries. Well, not really ticked, but slightly annoyed. I hope a BWW kid takes home the gold!

I adore it. I agree with the comment about the camera-lowering. Powerful stuff there, kiddies.
re: two actors/actresses you would want to see on stage together  Jul 15 2005, 02:30:14 PM
I will never get tired of seeing Norbert and Sherie together. Ever.

re: Schindler's List  Jul 10 2005, 10:19:33 PM
I think it could be fine - but in my mind a play would be more powerful, and more well-recieved.

I was just flipping channels and it's on for me right now (in Tennessee)...

Sounded like a tour to me.

And I Am Telling You for serious. What was it, maybe, 10 minute standing ovations after that song? Incredible.
Barbie Musical...  Jul 10 2005, 04:00:51 PM
Say what?

Any thoughts?

add as many lemons as you can fit

squeeze some honey into it if you please

re: Broadway Shows - TV Audiences  Jul 6 2005, 08:12:16 PM
I haven't really noticed that at all... I still hear people laughing, clapping (even at inappropriate times), and you know in America standing ovations are basically required... and shame shame if they have food bags!
re: diva pascal  Jul 6 2005, 07:28:15 PM
I thought the same thing when I read it. Like when he talks about his hair, it's almost like he's saying "Its hair, people, why does it matter?" ... It amuses me.
