As someone who watched it all unfold in person, I don't think it was an overreaction. There was build up to it. I do totally understand people can only form their opinions based on the clips going around. From what I saw, I thought Patti tried to solve it politely multiple times during the 30+ minute talkback. I was there! I think she noticed the anti-maskers early on in the talk back and was motioning at them to mask up. Then later on called them out on mic, basically telling them how to wear a mask. They didn't do anything, and she kept giving them the evil eye and pointing them out. The guy behind them tried telling them too.
