I attended the preview performance last evening and am sad to report all that has been said before is true. There is no concept or throughline present on stage, and certain scenes do drag on for what feels like an eternity. During a scene in the second act last evening, a woman in the orchestra loudly shouted, "This is BORING!"... and she was right. (I felt terrible for the three actors onstage, one of them being an understudy.)

I'm so glad to see that a thread has already been made about this production. I highly recommend this one, especially if you are a fan of Hunter's other work.
I was there this evening and also found this play to be incredibly moving and compelling. Will Brill and Kyle Betran both gave fantastic performances, and the design was simple, but lovely. I do agree that certain scenes became too dramatic a bit too quickly, but I thought it found its footing early in the evening.
