The powers that be refuse to listen to reason re releasing three versions of the OCR, 1 for each of the boys, but yet again manage to peddle Elton's recordings of the same three songs for the umpteenth time!
I seem to remember an interview Elton gave some time ago saying how he had recorded a whole load of songs for Billy, that never actually made it into the show.
Would it not have made the the whole special edition release a little more tempting if we had

A long shot here, but a friend of mine and fellow board member "Electricity" has organised a group trip to see Billy tonight Thursday 20th October 2005.
He has 2 spare tickets in the Dress Circle seats J29 & 30 going for £40.00 each.

Haydn is generally the last to leave, and can take some time to appear.
However, that said, when she does come out she is both very pleasant and very engaging.
On the night we saw her she was in no rush to end the conversation and was very happy to talk openly about the show.

I guess there is no point in reasoning with certain contributors to this board!
Musicals Fan - It seems pretty clear to me that you are intent on stirring things up with express intention of upsetting other board members. Is that really necessary?
No one has ever said it was wrong to either like or dislike any one individual performer in the show, and if you happen to prefer Liam over the other boys then fine - no problem!

Like many of you here, I have had the good fortune to see George, James, Liam, Leon performing in the show, and in my opinion each one of them is absolutely bloody fantastic!
Sure, everyone will have there favourite Billy, Michael and Debbie etc. but we should never underestimate how talented ALL of these kids are.

Point taken "Maestro" and indeed it would seem almost impossible to think that three recordings of the same show would be produced.
However, Billy is rather unique in as far as very reliable sources have confirmed that 3 recordings have been made with each of the original 3 Billy's.
As for Les Mis, yes who could forget that show - 20 years young on Saturday and still going strong!

Hi All,
Well I've been away for a few days visitng family in Newcastle, and have only just caught up with all of the posts!
Whilst it has been great to catch up with all the news, I am somewhat dissapointed that some of the posts have become somewhat inflamitory and personal in content. This is a great board, and one where everybody is welcome to share and express their views and opinions on the show. Lets' keep it that way please!

Day Seats!

Hi All,
Just a quick house keeping note re day seats.
On information given yesterday, whilst in the queue for day seats, it would appear that the daily allocation of seats available has been reduced from 48 to 28.
Now, I'm not entirely sure if this applies to Saturday performances or even during school holidays, but it does apply during the week.
On checking with the Box office it would appear that all of the row A seats on the right hand side of the auditori

Hi All,
I thought you might appreciate my review of last nights show.
As with Saturday evening, Stephen Daldry took to the stage ahead of the show to firstly welcome everyone to the theatre, and then to tell us that whilst every night is like a first night in the theatre, tonight was indeed such an occasion for a number of the children including Joey and Leon. Well, I've just arrived home from tonight's show and all I can say is boy what a show!!!
In the finest of the West End traditions, the boys were given the best send off possible, and I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house by the end of the performance both on and off stage.
Will we miss these guys...? Of course we will! But I really believe that we haven't seen the last of James Lomas and Ashley Lloyd. These guy's showed a maturity and depth of charachter tonight that p

Well I guess it's great to know that songs from "Billy" are being performed on the high seas. Did they also do "I am sailing" from the last resident production at the Victoria Palace?
Anyway, I hope you are having a great time Electricity and it's a shame you won't be with us on Saturday!
I would also like to echo the sentiments expressed by Pegasus re the other members of the Ballet chorus who are also leaving the show on Saturday.
