Well, better we wait for a high quality recording, than to have them rush one out that is less than up the the excellent standards set already by the show.

I disagree. I feel that there are enough Billy Elliot fans here in the States just from watching the film, that it would be a solid hit. Again, it must remain British, anything less would not be Billy. And that is why it must not come here. I know, I sound daft. But I loved the story so much from seeing the film 6 times (and numerous additional times since buying the DVD), I don't want this play diluted in any way. Unless we can experience the full effect and the solid energy from the West End p

I'm sorry I haven't posted in quite some time, but have been working elsewhere on the Gulf Coast aiding in the hurricane relief. Back to the play. As much as I would dearly love to have this wonderful show come to the States, I realize that it really isn't a viable option. I've seen discussions of possibly having an American cast and training them in speaking with the British accent (hasn't ever worked in my opinion and never will). Also, the logistics of bringing an all British cast over to Bro

Thank you sooo much for the link to the Yahoo group. I'm sitting here in the States waiting not too patiently for the show to come here. I only pray that when it does, it stays 100% British. It can't be diluted in any way, it would destroy the whole story. I saw the film 6 times and bought the DVD, I knew that this was too good a tale to not become a stage show. From what I have found on the net the show has exceeded my expectations. Now please send the album and/or DVD here asap lol.
