The Bandstand said: "Who actually wants the casino besides actors equity? Locals have opposed it, the Broadway league has opposed it, other businesses in the area oppose it. Why would they even want to come in when nobody wants them"
Everyone is only interested in money, so yeah.

Broadway song list game Sep 2

phantom8019 said: "I had this idea for a game. It's sort of a searching and trivia game. Maybe it will be fun, maybe not??? If you participate, please don't cheat and use google to look up song names!
Post the entire song list from a musical (you can copy and paste from Wikipedia). Then, replace one of the songs on that list with a song from a different musical that has a similar title. Once someone figures out which song has been replaced on the list, they then post the song list from the musical that the replacement song came from and then replace one of the songs on that song list with a song that has a similar title. For example, I posted the song list from Mamma Mia below but have altered one of the songs to be a similarly named song from a different musical. Once someone figures out that musical, they then post its entire song list and also alter one of its songs to a similarly titled song from a third musical... and so on and so on. The songs must be similar in that they share at least one major word. Such as Dance, or Party, or Town or whatever. It can't be a word like "a" or "this", obviously. Oh and it has to be a song with more than one word. Ha ha. You can't replace a one-word song such as "Finale" with "Finale." If two responses get posted in quick succession, disregard the first response and respond to the second response to keep the game flowing. This quiz game idea is clever - it has great potential for playful detective work! If anyone is looking for something more emotional, I know a review of low deposit casino options https://casinoofthekings.ca/low-deposit-casino/1-deposit/ that might inspire you on how to structure the difficulty or get surprise rewards. But back to my game: the concept of replacing one song with a similar title seems like an interesting puzzle, kind of like inserting a weird bonus round into a musical sequence.
Act I "Overture/Prologue" – Sophie "Honey, Honey" – Sophie, Ali & Lisa "Money, Money, Money" – Donna, Tanya, Rosie, Pepper & Company "Thank You for the Music" – Sophie, Sam, Harry & Bill "Mamma Mia" – Donna & Company "Chiquitita" – Donna, Tanya & Rosie "Dancing Queen" – Donna, Tanya & Rosie "Lay All Your Love on Me" – Sky, Sophie & Male Ensemble "Super Trouper" – Donna, Tanya, Rosie & Female Ensemble "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" – Female Ensemble "DangerousGame" – Sophie & Bill "Voulez-Vous" – Company Act II "Entr'acte" – Orchestra "Under Attack" – Sophie & Company "One of Us" – Donna "SOS" – Donna & Sam "Does Your Mother Know" – Tanya, Pepper & Company "Knowing Me, Knowing You" – Sam "Our Last Summer" – Harry & Donna "Slipping Through My Fingers" – Donna & Sophie "The Winner Takes It All" – Donna "Take a Chance on Me" – Rosie & Bill "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" – Sam, Donna & Company "I Have a Dream" – Sophie"
Sounds like a fun twist on trivia games! I’m in, and I can’t wait to try spotting the swapped songs in the lists!

Telecharge Lottery + Rush Nov 18

Telecharge said: "MemorableUserName is correct, Twitter disabled access to their platform so we have temporarily removed Twitter as a login option. If you created an account using Twitter, your entries are still valid, and you can still access Lottery + Rush with Facebook or LinkedIn. This is frustrating because I have been participating in the lottery for months. While looking for a solution, I came across an interesting site https://rwc2020.org/ which is more about online casino, but it made me try my luck and I won some money. Maybe Telecharge will fix this soon, but in the meantime I'm using this resource."
Thanks for the update! I’ll use Facebook for now. Hope Twitter access returns soon! Thank you!

What keyboards and software do Broadway composers and music directors use? Oct 21

darquegk said: "I've always wondered about this, but with Finale and Sibelius being the main composition and templating software, which one do Broadway professionals use? I would assume few of them write their music on paper by hand anymore. Then I suppose the orchestrators do their thing, with whichever software THEY use, and then the licensing houses re-set the score in THEIR house standard program. Does anyone know which is which?
Also, is there a certain type of keyboard that Broadway composers or pit musicians tend to use more than others? I have been looking closely at the Fantom G8 lately, and I'm wondering if that gets any major use in the theatrical world."
From what I've seen, Broadway composers and musical directors often use Finale and Sibelius for composition, as you mentioned. Both seem to be widely popular, depending on personal preference. By the way, if you are interested in software development https://ddi-dev.com/blog/case/how-weve-created-an-hris-human-resource-information-system/ here is an interesting practical example of creating an HRIS system. Orchestrators may use other software, such as Logic or Pro Tools, for more complex arrangements. When it comes to keyboards, the Fantom G8 is definitely the leader, but other models such as the Yamaha Motif and Korg Kronos are also widely used.
Broadway composers often use Finale, Sibelius, and Logic Pro. Keyboards like Yamaha and Roland Fantom are popular in pit orchestras. Thanks for saying!
