re: Are Tony award winning Best plays & musicals filmed for archives?

The Lincoln Center Library for Performing Arts archives many Broadway and Off-Broadwaymusicals and plays. I know for a fact the show does not have have to win a tony to be recorded. many college programs rely on ticket sales to keep the program running. In my opinion it's not a matter of it being "cheesy" or mature enough... it's can your school do it. Obviously, a college program wouldn't do Annie.. But shows like Guys & Dolls should DEFINATELY be done by a college... because if you are a student you will learn tremendous

 Dec 13 2005, 08:41:25 PM
We all go through obsessions of listening to a cast album over and over and over again... My current obsession is Evita (Original Broadway Cast) (And every now and then the soundtrack)

What's yours?
