Happy Holidays
Just saw Dreamgirls Wed nite in Baltimore
Chester Gregory was fantastic
His voice was GREAT, he really excelled in the performance as an actor
He put his own spin on the role and made it his own.
I saw the original broadway show :) and thought he was better
He is the one to watch
Has anyone else seen the show, thoughts, comments, etc.

HI guys
Remember LaChanze did the role of Sarah in the out of town try outs prior to going to Broadway.
Some auditions were held yesterday with Stephen Flaherty.
And interesting enough, LaChanze missed her first song in the WIZ yesterday. But she was there for her last two songs.
Is there a connection, did she audition. She does have a history with the Stephen and Lynn.
LaChanze was GREAT!

I went to see Ledisi perform a Christams Show at the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis, Maryland. She performed for two nights with both shows sold out. Ledisi has performed in such shows as Caroline or Change, Once on this Island, etc.
Ledisi announced that she had a special guest from NYC who has performed on Broadway by the name of Chester Gregory. I was in shock and excited.
Besides being extremely talented, he is one the nicest guys that one could ever meet. He is very dow

Anika is appearing on the Tavis Smiley talk show towards the end of the week. It is usally on PBS, check your local listings.
Does anyone know what she will talk about?
Also, Anika will appear on the View on 5/31 to discuss her lifetime movie with Debra Messing. Same day as Legally Blonde on the View.

By the way, the circuit city's in the Wash/Md area, did receive the Rent calendars a week later. People lost interest and they gave me several.

In case you do not know:
Walmart is offering a 7 remixed song cd (I do not know the songs)with the 1 disk dvd
Circuit City is offering a companion book to the 2 disc dvd. I not sure whether it is the hard cover coffee table book or the 52 page soft cover book.
Does anyone know the songs or which book?

I just came back from seeing Saving Aimee, Carolee was fantastic, she is such an awesome vocalist. The play is well acted and sung by the other performers.
Has anyone else seen it and if so, what is your opinion.

There are couple of recordings/mixes of Dreamgirls:
Dance Remix of the original One Night Only - combing Jennifer Holiday's version with the group version. I have heard the promo and it is great. The remix is put out by Almighty Records in the UK and will appear a forthcoming compilation cd of dance mixes.
