Well sometimes studios or Directors will throw names out there to get reactions from people. I thought they were going to use her because of her popularity with fans and not because of talent. Its not a surprise that she can't really sing. So why else would they choose her for such an iconic role? Which brings me back to this...If fans go against her, then it would make since to reconsider casting her. I just think they should cast someone who can sing and have talent. It just seems like t

Isn't it kind of weird that she's been in hiding since the announcement of her being offered the role? Why would she do that though? If someone asks her about it, all she would have to say is that she can't talk about it at this time. I almost feel like if she takes on this role, she will have some major haters. She's America's Sweetheart! Is that what they want to happen to her perfect reputation?
