Jules beat me to it. I was thinking Deborah Gibson. I thaw her in Thinderella. "Impossible" should have been titled "Improbable" to make up for her bad lisp.

I would LOVE to see a revival of Falsettos, but would love even more if they did all 3 Marvin Shows. The new version of In Trousers that was done in Chicago a couple years ago was outstanding.

1. Candide 2. Gypsy 3. Mack and Mabel 4. A Chorus Line I had a the privilege of seeing Marvin Hamlisch conduct the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and they played the Overture from Chorus Line, which was cut before the show opened. It's really lovely.

Hands down, the hardest I have ever laughed was at DAME EDNA: The Royal Tour. She played the "scaffold-encrusted Schuuuuuuubert Theatre" in Chicago and I laughed so hard my abs hurt for days afterwards.

The show isn't very good, but "Part of Your World" remains one of my favorite "I wish" song. I also like "Somewhere That's Green." Guess I'm a Menken fan.

Marc, you are a real class act. Thanks for posting your concern. I was one of the VERY few people with the internet Evite who got in to see it in Chicago last night. I was very grateful to get a sneak preview of the film. I LOVED it! It surpassed my expectations and thought it was a great, fun experience. The performances were incredible and I loved the new material and orchestrations. The audience was smiling and tapping their feet the entire time. Congrats, Marc.
